MISSION STATEMENT
As Iraq struggles to rebuild from years of dictatorship, war and isolation, innocent Iraqi citizens continue to suffer. Tensions between ethnic and religious groups are a main reason of instability and violence in Iraq. As a result, Iraqi-Armenian minorities live everyday in fear and trepidation, as kidnapping, bombings, and killing of innocent citizens becomes commonplace.
Therefore, the Iraqi Armenian Relief Fund was established, its mission is to identify needy Iraqi-Armenian families and individuals currently living in Iraq who wish to relocate to their homeland Armenia, for a more secure life and future.
The Iraqi-Armenian Relief Fund has partnered with the Government of Armenia and the appropriate assigned authorities to ensure a successful transfer of every Iraqi-Armenian who wishes to settle in Armenia, and will collaborate with civic and religious leaders in the United States, Iraq and Armenia to guarantee safety and protection for the families and individuals who are chosen for relocation.
